Redsun Group continues to invest 200 million yuan in the construction of a 100 million-stem/year reed research and cultivation base, a 200,000-ton/year biomass fuel processing plant, a 2 million-ton/year production and sales platform, and a 11,000-mu polyploid reed planting demonstration. This will improve the planting of polyploid reed in saline-alkali land, develop biomass energy to promote the realization of carbon neutrality, and complete the construction of a new "green intelligent ecological" green zero-carbon circular economy solution closed-loop. This greatly meets the multi-dimensional environmental protection requirements of urban waste-free construction, energy saving and carbon reduction, resource recycling, and greening and efficiency improvement.
Currently, the Group is establishing industry-university-research cooperation with Tianjin University of Science & Technology, Anhui Agricultural University, Tianjin Agricultural College, and other scientific research institutions, focusing on enhancing the green core competitiveness of the plan. Redsun Group enters the organic solid waste and hazardous waste resource utilization market. Construction of the first demonstration base for in-situ remediation of saline-alkali land in North China has begun. Along the path of industrializing a closed-loop system for intelligent ecological water management, an academician expert workstation and an intelligent ecological environmental protection industry alliance have been established successively. Tianjin Redsun New Energy Co., Ltd. (formerly Deyu) and Tianjin Saihong Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. were established to support the voyage of the Redsun giant ship.

Redsun brand officially established. The group has invested 800 million yuan to build a 40,000-ton/year domestic sewage treatment plant, a 20,000-ton/year industrial sewage treatment plant, a 30,000-ton/year reclaimed water plant, a 15-ton/year organic solid waste resource utilization plant, a 20-mu saline-alkali land improvement demonstration project, as well as an environmental monitoring and functional chemical products base. The results of the smart water management solution are beginning to show.
Under this system, 12.4 million tons of wastewater can be deeply treated and reused annually, saving 15.5 million tons of fresh water resources, reducing water pollutants COD by 4310 tons, ammonia nitrogen by 483 tons, total nitrogen by 360 tons, and total phosphorus by 61 tons, and reducing harmful gas emissions of carbon dioxide by 52,500 tons and nitrogen oxides by 93,000 tons in sludge disposal.

Lin Hongxin's newly proposed "Smart Water Management (Water Resource Recycling and Zero Emission Implementation Plan for Industrial Wastewater and Sludge Hazardous Waste)" urban overall solution. The proposal of this plan is like dropping a bombshell in the environmental protection field, triggering widespread attention and reflection. The traditional extensive parallel water use model has low water resource utilization rate and causes a lot of waste, while the smart water management plan advocates a new model of serial closed-loop reuse and zero emission of water resources, which is a thorough revolution of the traditional model. Under this new model, water resources are no longer used once and then discharged, but are reused multiple times, up to 6-8 times. This recycling method is like a precise ecological chain, with each link closely connected, maximizing the value of water resources. Sewage, once a headache for cities, has become a valuable resource in the smart water management plan. The various reclaimed waters obtained after treatment can be supplied to different industrial enterprises, which not only solves the low-cost water demand of industrial enterprises, but also reduces the dependence on natural water resources.
