On April 17, the Lingdong Core 2025 China Coal-fired Unit Coupled Co-firing and Coal Blending Technology Innovation Exchange Conference was grandly held in Ningbo, Zhejiang. Representatives from power plants, government departments, research institutions, equipment manufacturers, and leading enterprises across the country gathered together. Focusing on the three main themes of "Technological Breakthrough, Policy Empowerment, and Engineering Practice," the conference conducted in-depth analysis of core issues such as improving co-firing ratios, pretreatment technologies for various solid wastes, equipment compatibility modification schemes, and coal blending technology innovation and practical cases. The aim is to promote the full-chain integration of "policy, technology, and industry," helping the coal-fired power industry seize the initiative in low-carbon transformation and creating a new paradigm for synergistic management of energy and solid waste.

 

 

Zhou Lin, Vice President of Redsun Group and Executive Chairman of Redsun New Energy Company, attended the conference and gave a speech promoting the advantages of the polyploid giant reed "Green State No. 1" and the Saihong Environmental solid waste and biomass co-firing scheme. Polyploid giant reed pellet fuel (gross calorific value ≥ 4500 kcal/kg), with ash content < 4%, total sulfur content < 0.4%, and total nitrogen content < 0.6%, fully demonstrates that the value of reed fuel utilization far exceeds that of traditional straw, with greater economic and stability. It not only avoids burdening coal-fired units' desulfurization and denitrification, but also effectively prevents corrosion and coking by diluting alkaline components in ash.
