The Municipal Development and Reform Commission visited Redsun Group to hold a project landing meeting for the hydrogen-based energy full industrial chain pilot demonstration zone.

To achieve the goal of establishing a demonstration zone for the entire hydrogen-based energy industry chain, cultivate the city's advantages in the new energy sector, and become a leader in domestic biomanufacturing in the future, on the morning of April 24, relevant department heads from the Energy Department of the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Guoyan Economic Research Institute, the Energy and Environment Office of the Binhai New Area Development and Reform Commission, and the Binhai New Area Planning and Resources Bureau, as well as leaders from more than 10 enterprises including Zhongyuan International Consulting, China Railway Construction 14th Bureau, China Railway Construction Yellow River Investment Company, CRRC New Investment Company, Tianjin Energy Investment Group, Tianjin Energy Group, Tianjin Food Group, SCG Industry, Power Construction Shandong Power Construction Group, Tianjin University of Science and Technology, and Huadian Tianjin Company, conducted a field research on Redsun Group's reed industrial ecological chain and attended the third Tianjin Hydrogen-based Energy Full Industrial Chain Pilot Demonstration Zone Project Landing Conference held at Redsun Group headquarters. They reported and exchanged ideas on topics such as using Tianjin's unused land to plant reeds, establishing sub-projects for producing green methanol and green aviation kerosene, establishing project companies for financing, coordinating debt resolution for private enterprises, and providing Redsun with more municipal sewage sludge resources to produce reed-specific fertilizers and saline-alkali land improvers.
Before the meeting, the government and enterprise leaders jointly visited various industries and factories under Redsun Group related to reeds. They listened to and learned about Redsun's specialized report on the research and development of the entire industrial chain technology for water, soil, fertilizer, and seedlings, product matching, and application cases. They gained an in-depth understanding of the saline-alkali land improvement-harmless treatment, reduction, and resource utilization of organic solid waste such as domestic sewage sludge and livestock manure-biomass energy green zero-carbon circular economic system based on the energy plant reed.
At the work promotion meeting, Redsun Group analyzed the planting benefits of reeds. The Guoyan Economic Research Institute gave an investment judgment on the advantages and market prospects of green methanol technology. Other enterprise representatives offered suggestions based on their own situations and businesses, and actively sought breakthroughs in key issues related to hydrogen-based industrial chain cooperation, including the supply of planting land, the participation of investors, and the sources of project funds. Leaders from the Municipal Development and Reform Commission proposed a "challenge-seeking" win-win work approach and cooperation path to promote the implementation of investors, joint ventures, and project scale. They also expressed support for prioritizing raw material supply, fully supporting the city's land development, reed planting, and fertilizer and sludge conservation projects, and further promoting the preliminary work of the hydrogen-based energy full industrial chain demonstration zone construction.
This meeting will become an important milestone in the coordinated development of the hydrogen-based energy full industrial chain demonstration zone. It not only builds a platform for resource sharing and complementary advantages for state-owned enterprises, private enterprises, and central enterprises, but also creates opportunities for cooperation among environmental governance enterprises through saline-alkali land ecological restoration and the resource utilization and ecological value transformation of organic solid waste in the city, providing a demonstration model for national zero-carbon circular economy construction.
